Replace your worn-out factory battery cables with a premium Big 7 upgrade kit for the Gen 8 (1987-1991) Ford F-150 and restore the power your vehicle was meant to have. This complete battery cable kit is designed to deliver faster starts, improved electrical performance, and long-term reliability.

Factory cables weren’t built to last. Ours are built to outlast your truck.

The stock kit does not include an alternator cable.

Why Upgrade Your F-150 Battery Cables?

Over time, factory battery cables break down due to corrosion, heat, and environmental exposure. That loss of conductivity leads to:

  • Slow or hard starting, especially in cold weather
  • Weak charging performance
  • Electrical issues or “gremlins”
  • Voltage drop between battery and starter

If your F-150 feels sluggish when starting or has inconsistent electrical performance, your cables are likely the problem.

What makes JeepCables Different?

We build cables for people who care about doing it right. Every component is selected for durability, conductivity, and real-world performance.

Premium Materials and Construction:

  • SAE J1127 fine-stranded oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable (no CCA junk)
  • Crimped with a high-force electromechanical crimping system
  • Tin-plated copper lugs for maximum conductivity
  • Marine-grade dual-wall adhesive-lined heat shrink
  • Military-style, corrosion-resistant battery terminals

Built for Real Use:

  • Handles heat, moisture, salt, and off-road conditions
  • Designed for long-term durability and reliability
  • Each cable labeled for straightforward installation

Do You Need A Bigger Alternator?

No. This upgrade improves efficiency across your existing system.

By restoring proper current flow, your F-150 can:

  • Start faster
  • Charge the battery more effectively
  • Eliminate common electrical issues caused by poor wiring

This is one of the most impactful electrical upgrades you can make without modifying your charging system.

Not Your Average "Big 3" Upgrade!

This isn’t a basic upgrade kit. This is the Big 7 system, designed to replace multiple critical cables in your F-150’s electrical system for a complete performance improvement.

Built by the JeepCables team.

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Faster, more reliable starts
  • Improved charging system performance
  • Eliminates voltage drop and weak connections
  • High-quality, corrosion-resistant materials
  • Made for long-term durability in harsh conditions
  • Easy install with labeled cables
