This upgraded battery cable kit replaces old worn out battery cables for more power and better performance from your vehicle.
What's the Big 7 Complete Kit?
The "Big 3" or "Big 4" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator output to battery positive, 2) battery negative to frame/body, and 3) engine ground to frame/body. We don't stop there though. Our "Big 7" kits also include the leads to the starter and the fuse relay box, as well as adding an external fuse to avoid routing the increase in current capacity through the smaller fuse box wiring. It’s really one of the first mods you should do to any Jeep!
What makes these cables so special?
We're nerds for specs and finer details around here. None of that CCA (copper-clad aluminum) that's used in inferior products, or stereo installations. We only use fine-strand, SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) approved, pure copper cable. Then using a powerful electromechanical crimping machine, we crimp each solid-copper end, and finally finish the construction by adding a environmental seal made of marine grade heatshrink meeting MIL-I-23053/4. Also included are military style corrosion resistant battery connections and an ANL fuse and holder. To make the entire install simpler, every end will be labeled for ease of installation.
Do I need a bigger alternator to run these cables?
No. Every vehicle can benefit from our "better than factory" cables. The years, along with environmental damage from rain/salt water/corrosion, can greatly impact your electrical system. Our customers have consistently reported that their vehicle starts faster, charges the battery better, and many times cured electrical gremlins that were brought on by compromised wiring.
I've changed my mind! I want to run a bigger alternator!
Perfect! You're probably running a power inverter, a stereo, a winch, an under hood welder, or flux capacitor. These all require more amperage than the stock alternator is capable of providing. Maybe you're not running any of these yet, but considering it, these cables will get you ready!
2GA or 4GA? Which to choose?
As far as 2GA vs 4GA, it's really going to depend on what mods you're going to do to. If you're staying stock, then 4GA is plenty, but if you're looking at modifying it down the road (winches/lights/etc) then you'd want 2GA, and we all know a Jeep is never really *done*.

Love it. Solved a crazy problem.
This is hands down one of the best accessory kits I’ve ever bought. Context: I own an 03 Rubicon that I’ve been wrenching on since 2013. I was having some crazy transmission issues, where the transmission would get locked in 2nd gear on the freeway. After much research, I found that the issue could be caused by low voltage in the power line to the sensor. Why? The stock cables aren’t sealed at the ends, and corrosion/oxidation creep up through the ends of the cable over time. The situation will only reveal itself if you live in a damp/humid/Oceanside climate. So, with all that said, I was looking for a quality upgrade. This kit had great reviews, I liked the design, and the 150A bus bar. Took 15 minutes to install. Looks great. Voltage issue gone. Jeep purrs now. It’s amazing how the little things are often overlooked. These guys cover all ends. The cables are perfect in length. It’s impossible to screw it up, as long as you replace one cable at a time. (Also: note to TJ owners - yes, there is an extra cable for you in this kits. It’s only used for the YJs, and it’s a nice bonus spare if you get in a jam.) I’ve had it on for about a month now. Very happy with my purchase. Great job, better than advertised.

Best TJ Wire Kit
Had several issues with a ground getting loose somewhere on the jeep, after repeated crimping of the stock wires with new terminals I finally caved and spent the money on this set of wires. It was worth every single penny, the problem hasn't returned since. Thanks JEEPCABLES!

Easy install and Perfect Cable upgrade
Super easy install thanks to the great labeling. I upgraded for the extra comfort of being able to add as many electrical upgrades as I'd like.

2001 tj wrangler
Great product. Would buy again but……… there was some stuff i had to do that was not mentioned like cutting the fuse box panel to accommodate the pdc and alternator cable. Not a big problem but to someone else who’s not able to do might have.
